A thorough Evaluation for diagnosis of Allergies consists of a detailed history of your symptoms, their intensity, extent and duration; their triggers; your past, family, and environmental history; previous treatments received and so on. A look at our New Patient Questionnaire will give you an idea of the important historical information we collect. After a thorough Physical Examination of the relevant organ systems we run or recommend one or more of the following tests relevant to your condition: Allergy Skin Tests, Pulmonary Function Tests, Blood Work, X-Rays, CT Scan, Food or Drug Allergen Challenge Tests etc.

Based on the above information, a Preliminary Diagnosis and a Treatment Plan is designed and discussed with you. The treatment plan may consist of Lifestyle Changes, Environmental Control measures to decrease exposure to allergens, medications to control symptoms, Allergy Desensitization to decrease your sensitivity to the allergens and New Disease-Modifying Biologicals, such as Xolair, Nucala and Dupixent to interrupt the allergic cascade responsible for the allergic symptoms.
